Keep your fingers crossed

Today I was awoken but the sound of a phone ringing a little before six (no it wasn't a red phone). It was Kris' mom. Calling to tell me that Brooke (kris' sister) thinks her water broke. She is only 34 weeks along. So I am asking for your prayers, and that you keep your fngers crossed that everything goes well. We might have a baby before the day is over.
I will keep you guys posted.

Allergy Appointment

So today was Kyle's long awaited allergy appointment. Things went well, but we really didn't learn anything new. We have to put Kyle back on wheat now, so when we go to his GI appt. the doc can see the full blown effect of it. We did the skin pricks, thank God Kris was there to hold Kyle while that was happening. Nothing showed up, which is good. He is allergic to mold, but who isn't. Wheat didn't react. Which was a surprise to us. But that means that he might actually be a celliac. We will find out more at the gastro. That's why we have to put him back on wheat. To test for celliac you have to be eating wheat. I'll keep you guys posted.

Sorry its been so long.

Yes I know it has been forever since I last posted, and I am sorry.

Last weekend the family drove to Kansas to visit Kris' sister. She is on bed rest at the moment, and can't travel out here. So it will be the last time Kris shes her before he deploys for the third time. We had a great weekend. We had not seen Brooke for a few months. And she definitely looks pregnant. Kyle had a great weekend, and even got to open up a few birthday presents early.

Then on Thursday night Kyle and I went to Disney on Ice Finding Nemo. And he loved it. I'm glad I was a little nervous if he would sit there. But he was a really good boy. He even laughed at appropriate times, clapped and cheered and danced a little in his seat.

The only problem that I had with the show is that everything is so expensive. I bought Kyle a snow cone, which he didn't even like, but wanted one cause his friends all had one. And it cost ten dollars. For a snow cone!!!! I couldn't believe it. And those cool lights that I didn't buy, twenty two dollars. I think there is something wrong with that picture.

I hope you all had a great week. Sorry I didn't post a thing.

WHOO HOOO!!!!!!

WE WON!!!! WE WON!!!!! WE WON!!!!

Thanks for all the positive vibes. They worked.

Go Jawhawks

I just wanted to let you all know just how excited we are for tonight's game. KU hasn't won the national championship since 1988. And its about time to win it again.

We were very excited about the outcome of Saturdays game. Kris won't even let us mention the name of our last coach in this household. He refers to him as "He who must not be named." He thought that would go over well with me since I am a Harry Potter fan. (I am very sad that there won't be another book to read, but very excited about the new series that J.K. Rowling is writing.)

All of you out there that don't really have a affiliation to either basketball team, should route for the Jayhawks tonight. They are a great team. And I believe in positive energy. And the more of it the better.

A Little bit about me.

I got tagged.

Rules of the meme:
1. Post these rules of the game first.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names. Then the tagger goes to the blogs of those who have been tagged & leaves a comment letting new players know they’ve been tagged. The tagger asks them to find the meme and instructions back at his/her blog.

This is for you Darlene

Here we go. A couple of pics of me just for you. The reason that I don't post many pics of me is I'm the one usually taking them.

On another note. Kyle is doing great at potty training. Has volunteered to go four times now in a row. We are so excited.
