Boy or Girl???

So with Kyle we didn't find out what we were having. This drove people nuts. This time round people keep asking us if we are going to find out. I am still on the fence. Kris wants to know, and he wants to know now.

What do you think, should we find out? And do you think its a boy or a girl? I am going to attempt to put a poll up to see what you guys think. Please vote. You can choose more than one answer. Just don't pick boy and girl. ;)

I can't stand not knowing, so if it were me, I'd find out. I have no clue what you're having; I stink at guessing. ;)

We found out with the first one - didn't with the second and then found out for the third. Personally, I liked knowing better. Yes, there where things I liked about not knowing but overall I liked knowing better. In my opinion it was just as exciting to know and prepare.

I voted for girl - but that is just becuase I think it is time for the Thompson's to have a girl!!! I haven't been very accurate though - I thought that last several were going to be girls. Anyway, we are very excited for your little one boy or girl.

No don't find out!! Did not know for our first three. knew for the forth. Loved not knowing!!! The excitment of talking about names and wondering how to decorate the room was so much fun. We look back and laugh at what the children's name would have been if they were a different gender. So much fun to hear my 22 year old tell me that he would consider naming his first daughter the name we had chosen for him if he had been a girl. Tears to my eyes. This fun conversation would never occur if we had found out the gender of our unborn child. Children will bring you many surprises (have four kids and endless amount of surprises good and bad) let them begin their life with a gift of gender!!

Find out!

It really IS annoying for people when they want to get you or make you a baby gift and they don't know. It seems sort of smug to me when people do it, too.

Plus, who wants androgynous baby clothes? People will say things like "Gee, what a cute .... baby." and they can't tell!
